MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL.. Danilo.Lewis|Fotography

As promised earlier here is my Monday Night Football recap!.. Enjoy!

Monday Night Football... Is it all that its made out to be?? Well let me just say that the expirience is better from home than live. Now the atmosphere is always hyped up times 10, which does make for a better game than say a regular sunday game at 1pm. But you dont get the sence that its something special like you do at home... Now that could also be cuz of the teams. Usually when you get 2 division rivals such as the skins and the eagles you expect fireworks!. Two major teams battling each other like the gladiators of Rome, but that wasnt the case.. This year the redskins are in what i like to call a "transsion year". Why transsion and not "down year", well cuz its just a matter of time before the General manager, Head coach, and whoever knows how many assistants will be fired. Not to mention possible benching and not resigning of the starting QB Jason Campbell, so yea.. Transsion year..

As far as the game is conerned there was no lack of huge plays and big moments. They just didnt come from the skins. At one point the offence did give signs of life but for the most part it was like amateur hour at the apollo.. Wait.. Scratch that, at the apollo atleast you get some possible huge stars, this stench was more like FREE amateur hour at the community center. Clinton Portis couldnt get the ground game going, Chris Cooley breaks his ankle in the second quarter and is out for the season now, Campbell cant find the open recievers, the Oline cant block for shit. Its just to many things going wrong for the offence for the redskins to be even a playoff contender... Now the redskins defence is always on point(top 5 in the league), but you just cant expect to stop everything when you spend the majority of the game on the field (that and the eagles offence is nothing to snooze at).. Now, as you might have already guessed, the redskins lost. Big surprise there!!

FedEx Field is like a well oiled gold mine for owner Dan Snyder. No matter how hated he is, Snyder will find a way to rape you out of every possible dime you could spend there.. I mean we are talking about $10 burgers, $8 "personal" pizzas the sice of my hand, $9 hot dogs.. $9 for a hot dog!!!. The bad part is that the redskins have some of the most loyal fans around the league and there will never be any shortage of money being spent there by the fans(arent we in a recession?? haha).. FedEx field itself is a rather a nice place to watch a game (being one of the newer stadiums in the league), so i highly reccomend going to a football game there in your lifetime. Even with how costly it may be, its still worth the expirience.
Lastly but not least i leave you with some of the images from the game.. Hope everyone enjoyed the post.
